Bishop William W. Morris, Jr. was born February 2, 1951 in Stone Mountain, Georgia. He is the son of the Rev. William Morris, Sr. and Lucille B. Morris. Rev. William Morris, Sr. is the pastor of the Philadelphia Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia.
Bishop Morris accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 6. He was called into the preaching ministry at the age of 10. He is a graduate of Carver Bible Institute as well as the Morehouse School of Religion, both located in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1968, Bishop Morris relocated to Mansfield, Ohio. He united with the Greater St. John C.O.G.I.C., where Elder Walter E. Jordan, Sr. served as Senior Pastor. While serving at Greater St. John, he met and married the former Patricia “Bonnie” McCruter. To this union, two daughters were born, Heather Renee’ and Chante’ Roxanne. On February 11, 2009, Bishop & Lady Bonnie celebrated their first grandchild, Nicholas "Little Man" Wilson. On July 15, 2015 Bishop and Lady Bonnie welcomed their second "miracle" grandson, Jason Michael Petty. Bishop & Miss Bonnie also celebrate their two (sons) -in-love, Jason Petty and Sherman Wilson.
At the age of twenty-one, in June of 1972, he was called to the pasturage of the Shiloh Baptist Church. He has served as Senior Pastor of Shiloh since that time.
Bishop Morris served as State Bishop of the State of Ohio, and had thirty-three (33) member churches within the state that he oversaw. Bishop Morris also serves as Second Prelate in Kingdom Connection Felllowship.
